Condolences

Condolence From: Regina & Dennis Sheehan
Condolence: I will always remember Rich walking along side of his dogs. He would walk all hours of the day. I always remember his 5:45 AM walks in the Reserve when I would be leaving for work. He would always greet me. Then I would see him later in the afternoon, he would sit outside my house and wait for me to come out to talk to him and he would tell me funny stories and make me laugh. He would always ask me about my parents as he knew they were sickly. I will always remember him that way. I will miss those walks but am glad I have that memory of him. My deepest sympathy to his family and Lucky.

Condolence: I did not have the pleasure of knowing Richard Zappile personally; however, Simone is a dear friend of mine and I witnessed her care and her sisters' with him...to know Simone...to know how dear he was to her and how she would do anything for him and how she executed her loving care...he must have been such a force and, undoubtedly, his legacy lives on. Much love and prayers to everyone who held him close to their hearts.

Condolence: I knew Officer Zappile many years ago, when I was head of Jefferson Bank. He was a great law officer, with compassion, understanding, and intelligence. His later career in city government was characterized by the same inspirational qualities he possessed in his police work. We need many more like him. He will be sorely missed.

My condolences to his family on their loss.

Condolence: Rich was the quintessential Philadelphian always wanting to be of service to his fellow citizens. Weather running on Broad Street or volunteering at a shelter he did it with a big smile and gusto. I was fortunate to have known him. My sincere condolences to his family who he loved dearly.
